Sydney design startup Canva has announced the raising of a US$15 million ($19.8 million) round from Blackbird Ventures and Silicon Valley firm Felicis Ventures, less than a year since it last raised US$15 million from the same investors.
IoT startup Proxy has announced it has raised US$1.6 million in a seed funding round led by Blackbird Ventures, who kicked in US$1 million, with funding also coming from the accelerator.

Sydney-based venture capital firm Blackbird Ventures has raised $200 million for its second fund, a big jump from its inaugural $30 million fund launched in 2012. This makes Blackbird the largest tech startup-focused VC firm in Australia.
