VIDEO: How Soda Shades became the hottest brand in sunglasses

Soda Shades was launched in 2018 by Australian influencer Stephanie Claire Smith and her boyfriend Josh Miller.

The original premise for their solarised sunglasses was simple – affordable ($89), cool, with names like Florence, Marilyn and Olsen – and if you want a pair, you texted them. Now they’re finding new customers online via Amazon Launchpad.

Soda Shades is among 150 brands on Amazon Launchpad, the place to discover new and unique products from the world’s brightest startups, which launched in Australia this week.

Startup Daily spoke to the co-founders about the success of their products.
