Startup Muster has launched its 2018 survey and is calling for current and future startup founders, investors, and others in the community to take part.

Now in its fifth year, survey participants in the survey will be able to see and connect with each other through Startup Muster’s Connection feature, which first launched in late 2017; over 200 matches have been made since the feature was rolled out.

Julian Tol, who was appointed CEO of Startup Muster last month, said, “This is a massive milestone for Startup Muster as we come up on five years of measuring the Australian startup ecosystem.

“I’m proud of the team and grateful to the startup community for helping make Startup Muster data the most trusted, respected and reliable data set about startups and the innovation economy.”

Monica Wulff, cofounder of Startup Muster and recently departed CEO, said the survey and its resulting report has “always been statistics for the startup community by the startup community”.

“The annual reports we release based on their contribution have been used by 757 different organisations across 34 different countries. Startup Muster is helping to change how global markets view Australian startup entrepreneurship,” she said.
