Employee experience platform Culture Amp is acquiring a Serbian people analytics startup to broaden its capabilities

The cost of the deal with Orgnostic, founded in Belgrade in 2019, was not disclosed.

The analytics platform combines fragmented HR data to give leadership teams rapid insights into how their workforce is tracking. That data will be plugged into Culture Amp’s AI platform to deliver improved people analytics for users to understand the driving forces behind critical employee insights,= such as staff attrition, poor engagement, productivity trends, salary gaps and more.

They plan to roll out Culture Amp’s new People Analytics product in the second half of 2024.

Orgnostic cofounders Luka Babic and Igor Bogicevic will join Culture Amp as vice presidents as part of the deal.

Culture Amp CEO Didier Elzinga said the merger will make people analytics more accessible for company leaders.

“Through this acquisition, Culture Amp will not only ingest the many information sources, but unlock the ability to analyse it against the predictive indicators we already have,” he said.

“Combined with our unique people science expertise, the opportunity to make meaning from previously disparate and disjointed data is exponentially powerful. ”

Babic said they were excited to join forces with Culture Amp.

“We founded Orgnostic because we believe that people analytics is the key to unlocking meaningful changes in organisations, and we see an opportunity to rapidly accelerate what we set out to do by being part of Culture Amp,” he said.

Culture Amp is now used by around 25 million employees across more than 6,500 companies, including Canva, On, Asana, Dolby, McDonalds and Nasdaq.

Its last major acquisition was US workplace values startup Disco in 2021.

The company will hold its free virtual conference, Culture First Global, featuring former US soccer star Megan Rapinoe – winner of two World Cup titles, the Golden Boot award and an Olympic gold medal – and relationships guru Esther Perel on May 14-15.
