Canva has announced today the introduction of new productivity tools that will allow users to visualise, embed and host data.
Stackla has raised $4 million in a fresh funding round, with backing coming from existing investors Bailador Technology Investments.
The Canva app sits in the Productivity category on the App store. Canva is lucky that there is no real competition in its space right now, that offers the all the functionality they do basically free, with only a small fee for premium design features and imagery. However, Adobe and its Creative Cloud services have begun to make a play into their own web solutions.
Designed by James Boyden and Tom Murtagh of SnapDisco, the online service aims to revolutionise the way photo objects (subjects in an image) can be digitally isolated and extracted without the need for hours of laborious clickwork on Photoshop.
