Startup Daily TV: Educonnect helps international students find the right Australian uni course to study

Educonnect founder Pramesh Khadka describes his digital platform as like Finder or Canstar for Australian tertiary education courses.

It helps international students make better and informed choices about the best university course to study in Australia giving them the ability to search, compare and connect with tertiary institutions.

Pramesh, a 20-year veteran of education and technology, says Educonnect is a cost-effective channel for education providers to market their institutions, services, and courses to prospective students across the globe.

“Tertiary institutions must embrace technology and use it to best support the learning needs of students. Meshed Group has been working to create this new ecosystem with Educonnect,” he said.

“We are APAC’s first cloud-based education marketplace enabling education providers to recruit and connect with prospective students globally in one single platform. We hope to onboard 100 higher education, vocational and language providers on our platform by the end of the year.”

Once courses have been compared and shortlisted, Educonnect allows students to directly connect with course advisors from the education providers, then helps them enrol for a seamless and efficient application process.

Currently, Educonnect has nine providers on the platform and is onboarding 50 more in the next few months.
