Startup Daily TV: Bede Moore on Antler Australia’s latest investment plans as it backs 13 new startups

Antler Australia has invested in 13 new early-stage startups for its Autumn cohort. 

The ventures in the fourth cohort reveal a changing business model for the early-stage VC, which is backing both startups built with Antler and accelerated cases that joined the VC platform as an existing business.

At the same time, Antler also launched a new investment platform to help startups raise more capital amid plans to hold a small-scale community pitch event for the startups to raise brand awareness, as well as attract first customers, hires, and more advisors.

Antler invests $190,000 for a 12% equity stake in each company as part of a pre-seed round.

This week Startup Daily caught up with Antler Australia Managing Partner Bede Moore to talk about the new cohort and the company’s plans, having already build a local portfolio of 53 startups in just three years.
