Innovators from across Australia will gather in Toowoomba, from Friday 14 June to Sunday 16 June 2019 to participate in the “Sustainable Revolution” Startup Weekend in a partnership with “Techstars” (Venture Capital and Tech Accelerator from Colorado USA) and “Google for Startups”.
Startup Weekend Toowoomba is run in partnership This Startup Weekend is part of a global initiative. We will be joining together with 50+ cities from around the world to tackle the largest challenge of our times; sustainability.
Techstars Startup Weekends are a 54-hour event where attendees work collaboratively to create a minimum-viable-product or solutions that can be taken to market. Since 2007, Techstars Startup Weekend has taken place in over 150 countries with more than 200,000 alumni. The focus of this event will be ‘Sustainable’ products and solutions to help make real changes for humanity and the planet. If you don’t have ideas of your own, you will be able to join someone else’s team to drive their idea forward.
Anyone with a desire to learn, contribute, grow, lead, help or be apart of a community of change makers, is welcome to participate. We can all contribute no matter our skill level or capabilities. We believe that by supporting entrepreneurship we can sow the seeds for the future, and by creating local initiatives, have a huge global impact.
