Sydney marketing technology startup Upflowy is about to release an AI-enabled marketing copilot, called ‘Psyke’, to help agencies, marketing teams, and companies create content that’s on-brand in hours, not weeks.
Cofounder and CEO Guillaume Ang said Upflowy’s focus is delivering trust in AI at scale.
“We help companies do the marketing functions that take up a lot of time and resourcing: creating on-site assets to increase visibility online, to help them scale their SEO & SEM efforts,” he said.
“This means marketing teams can address their backlog of requirements in-house, and scale the content they produce online, whether that be by focussing on multiple geographies, or by inventory line-items, or even, by particular variants that apply to their specific scenario. Such as, a dog food company, creating a landing page for every breed they target, almost instantaneously. Like magic.”
Upflowy was part of the 2020 Antler accelerator cohort and went on to raise $6.6 million (US$4m) in 2022 as a customer conversation platform looking to expand into the US market.
Upflowy helps marketers and other customer-facing businesspeople improve their online conversation rates with a no-code platform for more engaging sign-up and onboarding flows, and to optimise sales lead funnels using a drop and drag design system.
Ang said the team is now focused on marketing content generation for time-pressed teams. He recruited former Linktree CTO Mitch Malone and Immutable CTO Marcos Duarte to Upflowy to deliver Psyke, joining a global team that’s brought it to launch in less than a year. They’ve also set up a waitlist for potential users keen to have a crack.
“By creating Psyke, we’ve enabled agencies to continue delivering and focusing where they can add most value, which is, on the design side, on the creative side, on the strategic side. But, they can implement these strategies by keeping costs down and retain control on the whole process of delivery,” Ang said.
“We’re helping them do that, and that’s now a service they provide their clients, offering amazing value downstream. We’re not just shipping an AI tool to market. We’re delivering a neuroscience-focused product that creates a science-based assumption to define a very strict way to convert on page, and eliminates the guesswork from the equation. We’re reducing the amount of ‘AI-ness’ in the production of these assets, so that this is brand-aligned and palatable for the human brain.”
