An AI startup that takes corporate consultancy into the digital age has raised $1 million in pre-Seed funding.

The round for NSW startup InsightWise was led by California VC Aliavia Ventures and Ari Klinger’s Sydney family office, No Brand Holdings, with support from Victoria Denholm’s Wollemi Capital Group, angel syndicate FB10x and other angels here and in the US.

The cash will go towards platform development, deep research functionality and US market expansion.

Former policy analyst and me&u growth lead Katherine Tobias and software developer Matthew Bailey launched InsightWise last year.

The startup was part of the National AI Centre’s inaugural AI sprint last June and won the People’s Choice vote.

The set out to tackle the idea of “a single source of truth” in documents across an organisation, cutting manual workflows and speeding up the consulting process, as well as stakeholder engagement and strategy creation. It now counts the NSW government’s Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development and consulting firm The Strategy Group among its clients.

Tobias spent six months as head of AI at Strategy Group, collaborating with them to develop InsightWise, and said they saw consultants drowning in data but starving for insights.

“Our platform eliminates the huge manual burden that has traditionally slowed teams down, creating a clear path from raw data to high-impact decision-making in minutes,” she said.

“With this investment, we’re not just scaling a platform, we’re creating a new landscape where strategic intelligence drives decisions at a speed and scale previously unimaginable.”

Aliavia founder Marisa Warren is joining InsightWise’s board and said the duo “have demonstrated incredible vision for the future of consulting”.
