The Melbourne Startup Bootcamp is about to kick off and you can join in virtually

The two-day Melbourne Startup Bootcamp kicks off tomorrow with the in person event already sold out.

However, other startup founders can tune in virtually for free to hear from industry leaders from Stripe, AWS Startups, the ASX, leading Australian tech startups, and venture capital firms.

Bay City Labs, Stripe, AWS Startups, Cake Equity and Startup Victoria are hosting the bootcamp, which brings together leaders from Australia’s top technology, investment and high-growth business ventures for a free event aimed at early-stage and series A startup founders.

The speakers include Jodie Imam, cofounder and co-CEO of Tractor Ventures; Linktree cofounder Anthony Zaccaria; Lauren Capelin, AWS Startups Ecosystem Manager; and Amber cofounder and co-CEO, Chris Thompson.

The bootcamp at the Docklands-based Bay City Labs, Jan 18-19, will feature in-depth conversations covering raising capital, growing and scaling a startup.

Panels during the two day bootcamp will look at the current state of VC investment, strategies to build funding, going global, managing growth and cultivating a startup culture, along with how to successfully exit from a venture.
