With over 3 trillion combinations this self confessed jewellery addict prides herself on having something for everyone. It has been a year since this working mother and emerging female leader in the tech space first launched her venture and it is fast becoming a darling of the press both in Australia and overseas.
Sydney based startup One Cent Flights looks to gamify and change the way people search for travel deals, founder, 19 year old university student Elliot Donazzan created the platform so people could have fun and get a chance to see the world at a fraction of the cost one would usually pay for what is often very expensive flights.
Priyanka Rao is the founder of Evolvex, the next generation of furniture design and creation. Although she may have three degrees under her belt, her path was decided early as being from a family of entrepreneurs it only seemed natural that Rao would journey down this path herself.
Parking in Sydney is a pain, it’s one of the few things that really detracts from our beautiful city. Last night the Westin was packed with hundreds of Local Businesses of the City of Sydney to celebrate the Business Awards ceremony. The night was hosted by Sunrise and Business Builder’s host David Koch, and entertainment by hilarious comedienne Julia Morris went down a treat. It was great to see such a diverse range of businesses, and business owners and the influx of “GenY” nominees this year shows that the future of the City’s Business Landscape is in safe hands.
SydStart is operated by the (mainly tech) startup community for the whole startup community and all speakers are volunteers and all funds are reinvested in the event, we are expecting over 1,200 paid conference and expo delegates to the next event with around 100 companies exhibiting and speaking/pitching.
