After a year spent looking for a new office, Adelaide’s Majoran Coworking has decided to stay put, instead launching a crowdfunding campaign to raise money for renovations at its Grenfell St location.
Adelaide coworking space Majoran today announced its new partnership with Flinders University’s New Venture Institute. The partnership will see Majoran’s MEGA merge with the university’s Venture Dorm program to create Australia’s largest pre-accelerator course.
Based on its growth and the companies that have emerged from the city, we can safely say that Adelaide has one of the strongest startup scenes in Australia. There are around 68 professional support networks in Adelaide, making it one of the most structured environments in the country; and with accelerator programs such as ANZ Innovyz and conferences like South Start, it is quite clear that our southern cousins mean business when it comes to innovation and technology.
The Coder Factory, a Sydney-based Ruby on Rails coding school, has partnered with Adelaide coworking community Majoran Distillery to host the Beginner Coder Weekend Workshop.
