Startup Daily and Microsoft Australia are shining the spotlight on Australian startups in the Pitch Perfect competition.

Ten Aussie startups will be invited to pitch for more than $200,000 worth of Azure cloud credits, plus a hefty marketing and promotion package at the Pitch Perfect virtual event hosted by Startup Daily and Microsoft Australia.

In September, the 10 selected startups will pitch some of Australia’s most influential tech experts and investors, including Microsoft Australia National chief technology officer, Lee Hickin.

The $200,000 in Azure credits will give the winning startup a head start without infrastructure costs, along with access to Microsoft services and people.

Lee Hickin said that there’s so much pent up opportunity in Australia for startups, turning the nation into a hive of tech innovation that Microsoft is keen to support.

“We want to create an opportunity for startups and small business to find a way to promote your product, get access to some great services, and meet with venture capitalists that can help on your journey by honing your strategy and being as successful you can in the market,” he said.

If you’re a founder keen to make your pitch, the simple application is available at startupdaily.net/pitch-perfect Applications close Monday, September 6.
