Antler Sydney is on a hot streak.

In just 16 months, the Australian arm of the global early-stage VC has raised a $46 million fund, invested in 41 companies, and grown its local operations team to a headcount of 24.

Now, it has announced the 16 startups recently built with and invested in by Antler. From 1,400 applications, Antler Sydney selected 99 founders, who went on to form 29 teams.  Among those, 16 have now received a combined $2 million in pre-seed funding from Antler for a 12% stake in each venture.

From SaaS to FinTech, HealthTech, Future of Work, EduTech, PropTech and more, these are the defining companies of tomorrow.

Antler continues to attract exceptional individuals, who recognise the strength of its global early-stage VC platform, the value of having access to the world’s largest dataset on early-stage founder success, and who understand the importance of being a part of a network which actively evaluates and supports their entrepreneurial journey from inception to investment.

In fact, 80% of Antler’s portfolio raises external funding within six months of receiving the VC’s pre-seed investment.

This recent cohort in particular showed promise from the outset with 61% of the founders having previously founded a startup, and 21% having previously raised funds with a VC.

Now, Antler is ready to unveil these 16 companies at its upcoming Demo Day on November 19, which will be live streamed globally from demoday.antler.co/sydney
