Description of business
Quantlfo helps institutional fund-of-fund investors eliminate the friction in constructing and monitoring investment portfolios. Empowering investment teams with the tools to work as one well-oiled machine, it helps institutions reduce fees and optimise investment returns.
This means more savings for superannuation members into retirement, more competitive insurance products, and more capital for the purposes of charities and foundations.
In an industry filled with fragmented solutions where investment teams painfully use up to six different systems, Quantflo offers a holistic and globally scalable platform that will allow these teams to build, monitor and research investment portfolios without a single line of code.
Antler investment thesis
“What excites us about Quantflo is that it is solving a persistent and growing problem within the investment industry, particularly for institutional fund-of-fund investors,” said Bede Moore, Managing Partner of Antler APAC.
“Quantflo’s platform, powered by artificial intelligence capabilities, will help institutional limited partners that struggle to optimise investment returns due to inefficient processes, inadequate modelling capabilities and insufficient analytics.
Traction/milestones, to date
Within four months of business, Quantflo has already launched a product that is in the hands of some of the leading institutional investors across superannuation, insurance, and wealth.
Along with that, the team has a full assembly line of products that are waiting to be deployed. These products are an ecosystem of investment tools that will piece together to form a holistic solution for clients.

The founders say
Philip Kim, co-founder & CEO of Quantflo says, “We’re revolutionising how investors build, monitor, and re-configure investment portfolios, by creating a centralised investment platform that is sophisticated, flexible, yet easy-to-use.
“Our industry is filled with fragmented investment platforms that are so painful to use and only really assist with bits and pieces of the investment process. We believe the reason for this is that the industry has built systems around investment concepts that were still developing over the past two decades, all the while accumulating technical debt on the platforms.
“We’re now seeing a sliding-door-moment for the industry with the maturity in investment research paving the path for a nimble start-up like us to build a platform designed for the next generation. Antler has helped our company hit the ground running by giving us the key ingredients at each step of the set-up and fundraising process.”
