Commiserations – you haven’t been selected for Startmate or Techstars or Y Combinator or Antler, and you’re not sure what to do next with your startup after slogging your guts out.

BrandHook founder Pip Stocks knows the feeling and wants to do something about it. So she’s launching the 48 Hour Startup Accelerator, a two-day intensive designed to reignite a founder’s energy, rebuild focus, and help them find a clear pathway to success.

Stocks previously founded, then shuttered Hearsay, and understands the emotional and practical hurdles founders face.

She recalls the 18-month mark being the hardest challenge, where burnout, stalled growth, a lack of product market fit and increasing pressure leads promising businesses to falter.

“The 48 Accelerator is about keeping more businesses alive, helping founders make great  money, and, most importantly, delivering products or services that customers truly need,” she said.

“This program is built for flailing founders who have either; lost their way and can’t find another angle on their own or  2. have been rejected from a traditional accelerator but recognise they need the help and knowledge to build.

“Instead of just letting these businesses slowly degrade with founders who are experiencing  serious burnout, we want to ignite the passion back by giving them access to a new plan… quickly. Over two days, we combine theory with hands-on practice leaving founders feeling energised and ready to get going again.”

The Melbourne startup consultancy, which specialises in customer discovery, product development, and founder coaching, BrandHook is on a mission to equip entrepreneurs, is charging $2200 for 48 Accelerator program.

Stocks said it will be outcomes-focused, addressing issues such as product-market fit, the customer value proposition, a mapped-out MVP, business model and Go-to-Market plan, as well as practical lessons in selling.

Details on and applications for the first session, which runs on Friday, February 28 and Saturday, March 1, are available here.

And good luck with your next accelerator application. Or maybe you won’t need one.
