Global influencer and content platform Vamp has put leading marketing exec Gabriele Famous into the CEO role.
Former CEO Gill Findlay has moved to the startup’s boardroom alongside co-founders Ben McGrath and Aaron Brooks.
The duo said they were thrilled with their new chief exec.
“Her experience in high-growth companies is exactly what’s needed to lead the business into its exciting next phase. We can’t wait to fulfil the company’s vision for the future with Gabriele on board,” they said.
Famous said the combination of 4.2 billion global social users spending an average of 145 minutes daily on the platforms has ramped up demand for social advertising.
“That’s why it’s so important that brands have the right technology to scale their conversations with customers and build trust,” she said.
“Vamp has an incredible track record across Australia, Asia, the Middle East and Europe, in delivering beautifully effective content for leading global brands. The platform puts the power of social communication at a brand’s fingertips and allows them to harness it in a fast, efficient and scalable way.”
The business raised $8.5 million last year and has now launched omni-channel capabilities for clients to coordinate influencer campaigns across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
Vamp’s client list includes counts Adobe, Williams Sonoma, Estée Lauder and Nestlé among its clients, as well as recently adding Netflix, Coty and Marks and Spencer to its roster.
Its self-serve platform has been used in more than 65 countries. And recently became a marketing partner with TikTok.
Vamp has been recognised by Deloitte as one of the fastest-growing tech companies in Australia for the past four years.
The six-year-old venture now has 58 employees.
