Shane Doolan and Jill Berry are co-founders of Consumer Data Right startup Adatree, one of the 10 companies accepted into Frank Lab's 2021 cohort.
Legal tech-focused accelerator Frank Lab has chosen 10 new women-led startups for its latest program.

Backed by law firm Hall & Wilcox, Frank Lab has partnered with One Roof, the network of female leaders and  entrepreneurs led by former corporate lawyer Sheree Rubinstein for the third year of its accelerator program, which includes startups in agricultural technology, clinical hypnosis, rockets, contraceptives, finance and social enterprise.

Rubinstein will be a mentor to the 2021 Frank Lab founders, while Hall & Wilcox will cover the cost for the founders to access One Roof’s digital membership for one year.

The startups also receive $5,000 to spend on legal services, a range of masterclasses and legal support, as well as receiving 50 points of the 100 points required to qualify as an Early Stage Innovation Company (ESIC).

Hall  & Wilcox Partner Jacqui Barrett, who leads the firm’s Women in Startups initiative, said it was exciting to see the female-led Frank Lab come to fruition.

“Creating more  opportunities for women working in startups was a key objective of our ‘Women in startups’ report, and our tailored Frank Lab program promises to do just that,” she said.
