The Proptech Association Australia announced the winners of the inaugural Proptech Awards this week at a Sydney ceremony before 150 people.

Others tuned into the livestream via satellite events in Brisbane and Perth (regrettably Melbourne’s event was cancelled due to the covid lockdown), as the winners of 15 category trophies, three Best of the Best trophies, and three special prizes were revealed.

Proptech Association Australia founder and President Kylie Davis said the judges frequently commented on how the winners use technology to solve clearly identified problems in ways that clients trust and like using.

“We are so pleased and proud to be celebrating this evening! It’s been a massive team  effort involving our Board, our members, foundation supporters, event sponsors and of  course all the entrants and judges. We are particularly grateful for the support of Ashurst,” she said.

The Proptech Awards are organised across three main categories – startups, scale-ups and established suppliers to ensure companies are judged in their peer category in terms of company size and maturity.

Sharlene Jamieson (c) from REI Super presented the trophy to Iain Stewart (l) and Tim Stewart (r) from Exergenics, which won  Most Innovative Startup Proptech in Smart Buildings & Cities as well as the overall Best of the Best Startup award.

Proptech Association Australia is the member-based organisation working to grow Australia’s emerging proptech industry and accelerate the adoption of technology in the real estate value chain.
