Female founders education program Tech Ready Women is running an eight-week startup program ‘idea to MVP’ (minimum viable product) for 100 women in entrepreneurship.

The startup program is built on four key pillars; community, mentoring, skills/education, and investment. It has been specifically designed for non-tech female founders who want to step confidently into the tech space.

Tech Ready Women is offering two online cohorts in 2021, with one starting in April, and another in June. The program will see 100 women get access to skills training and mentoring to test and launch their startup idea. Successful applicants will receive either a full or part scholarship on the eight-week program.

The NSW Government is funding the programs through the Sydney Startup Hub initiative.

Tech Ready Women’s entrepreneur-in-residence, Priyanka Ashraf, said there is a gap when it comes to women easily accessing tech and startup education.

“In eight short weeks we can bring them up to speed, help them to develop an idea and market test it, prior to spending any money, and give them all the tools they need to be successful in business,” she said.

“That goes a long way to building confidence and skills that have very real tangible outcomes.”

Applications for the first cohort starting in April are now open. Apply at techreadywomen.academy/femalefounderprogram.
