Right now, a bunch of cool people are sharing their advice to help everyone in business get through the COVID-19.

Among them is Melbourne startup Silicon Block, famed for events ranging from intimate dinners to large scale block parties, which has moved online in the work-from-home era.

Founder Rhys Hayes has built a community of more than 7000 purpose-driven, innovation and digital-first executives across business, design and technology to explore the future of work and create an intellectual playground for the lifelong learning.

Hayes has now begun hosting weekly “virtual fireside chats” every Thursday lunchtime and this week’s topic is “Enhancing creativity in remote distribution teams” with Harriet Wakelam, Director Design Centre at IAG and David Cox, Head of Customer Experience at IE.

Hayes is keen to talk weekly about tech’s hot button industry issues in the era of the wake of social distancing, self-isolation and remote working. Last week he spoke with Slack’s Stephanie Lau and Carolyn Butcher, Managing Partner and Head of P&C at IE.

In coming weeks, Hayes will be talking to the likes of Culture Amp Didier Elzinga, RMIT Online CEO Helen Souness and Phoria co-founder Trent Clews-de Castella
