Silicon Valley lawyer Richard Horton from Squire Sanders will be coming back to Fishburners to deliver his presentation, Angel and Venture Financing for Australian startups in Silicon Valley.
The talk will cover what Australian startups in Silicon Valley need to do to get a deal done in the US. Horton will also explain some of the free terms of investment documents, as well as key IP/Founder considerations. The presentation will give Australian startups a strong sense of what their deals need to look like to acceptable to Silicon Valley investors.
Horton is a tech/IP/venture lawyer, who focuses on private and venture financing, M&A transactions and strategic intellectual property advice – representing US, Australian and offshore multinationals throughout the US, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. He is admitted to practice in both California and Australia and actively advises clients under both US and Australian law.
