Every six weeks, the League of Extraordinary Women hosts a breakfast meeting featuring a successful businesswoman who shares the genesis, the highs and the lows of her entrepreneurial journey and critical lessons learned along the way. The star of the next meeting in Sydney is Sara Leonardi-McGrath.

Founded by entrepreneurs, Sarah Riegelhuth and Sheryl Thai in 2011, the League’s mission was to bring young women together in a friendly, welcoming space and to help them pursue their business ideas and goals – whether they’re experienced or budding entrepreneurs or just those aspiring to start a business in the future.

The casual nature of the meetings aim to help women connect with each other and develop long lasting business relationship and friendships.

Sara has achieved an enormous amount in just a few short years in Australia. A loving wife to Australian sporting legend Glenn McGrath and doting step mother to children James and Holly, Sara also commits significant time and energy into varied business and media interests.

An acute businesswoman, she is the owner of MCLEMOI, a contemporary, commercial art gallery established in Chippendale.

Unfazed by the challenges of establishing a business in one of the countries’ most competitive industries, she has been the mastermind behind the galleries immediate success in one of Sydney’s most vibrant inner city suburbs.

In addition to her business interests, Sara enjoys her role as a media commentator on the Nine Networks Morning Show. A regular panellist, she has proven herself to be an entertaining voice to social issues, always providing a unique and unabashed perspective.

Prior to coming to Australia, Sara was an interior designer and decorator with her specialty being to fully decorate homes for clients and overseeing their  construction.Sara’s time living in North and South America, Italy, the Czech Republic, Africa and nowAustralia have enabled her to work of people of many different backgrounds and cultures.

A wife, step-mother, business owner, media commentator and avid supporter of the arts,she loves life, and brings a wealth of knowledge to the fore having seen and experienced the world through its many different facets.

Breakfast Meeting

Date: September 10th, 2013. 
Time: 7.30am arrival with 7.45am guest speaker to start. Finishes approximately 9.30am but you are welcome to leave earlier to get to work on time.
Venue: NAB House Private Wealth, Level 28 255 George Street, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia

Tickets are $28 each for members, $38 for non-members. and $23 for students. All tickets include breakfast platters and coffee.
