Remember Jason Alexander from hit TV sitcom Seinfeld? He’s now the face of Australia’s leading online shopping site CatchOfTheDay!
The world famous actor and comedian is partnering with the daily deals site to bring fun and humour into online shopping.
A true catch for any business, Gabby Leibovich, Co-Founder of CatchOfTheDay, says working with Alexander is “literally a dream come true”.
“We have always been big fans of his, and when we started CatchOfTheDay we often joked about how great it would be to work with him. Jason is fun, cheeky and doesn’t take himself too seriously, which is exactly what CatchOfTheDay is about.”
Alexander who will be the site’s Brand Ambassador for a period of 12 months says, “I am so happy to be working with CatchOfTheDay to help inject some fun into online shopping. Talent management company, AMWicked, negotiated the deal on behalf of CatchOfTheDay.
This is the site’s first significant investment into brand marketing, and the advertising campaign will kickstart the next phase of CatchOfTheDay’s business evolution as it continues to build its brand as Australia’s favourite online retailer.
As well as being the face of the advertising campaign, Alexander will star in exclusive video content on the site and will make appearances in key shopping events throughout the year.
“Jason is a very well regarded and known actor and comedian and has universal appeal which is important for as as we sell to a broad demographic,” says Leibovich.
“By using him as the face of our brand it also helps us to reach new audiences that may not know about us. Most people know and love Jason Alexander!”
