If you have not heard of The Awesome Foundation before, then BRO you are missing out!

The worldwide Awesome movement is “an ever-growing, worldwide network of people devoted to forwarding the interest of awesomeness in the universe”

The Trustee’s of the Awesome foundation have the responsibility of contributing $100 per month, which equates to $1000 in total from all 10 trustee’s to an idea being pitched to them that is, well, awesome. In particular each chapter tend to look at the idea and look at how it will help enhance the local community.

Applications close on the last day of every month with the trustee’s meeting on the second Wednesday to award the grant recipient, considering the previous month’s applications. Past winners have included an “Urban Acupuncture” project in Clovelly and a Bring Your Own Beamer [BYOB] night where people came together to a space and showed projections they have made.

So if you are passionate about Awesomeness and helping get projects and ideas that enhance the Awesome factor of Sydney, then apply here to be considered for the freshly vacant chair on the board.
