Yen Huynh is the founder of mechoshop.com. Yen grew up in Sweden and has a Bachelor of Social Science in Marketing from Vaxjo University including studies at University of Technology, Sydney. She worked within the digital media industry for over 10 years at leading digital agencies to publishing and client-side.

mechoshop.com is a brand new Australian marketplace designed to give style savvy shoppers a one-stop-shop to purchase handpicked products from independent lifestyle brands online. mechoshop.com is a natural extension to the blog mecho.com.au | the style black book. Yen Huynh is the founder of both; she conceived the idea after wanting to create an online outlet for her passions, experiences and things spotted, a place to share her inspiration.

In 2012 she launched mechoshop.com after constantly being asked by readers of mecho.com.au where they could purchase brands and products mentioned in the blog. mechoshop.com ultimately allows Yen to holistically combine her expertise in digital marketing and e-commerce whilst keeping her editorial eye on approved brands and products – creating a relevant online shopping environment for consumers and independent businesses to connect.

She will continue to handpick emerging and established brands to join the site, and is looking forward to cross-promotional opportunities and collaborations with potential synergy partners in the future.
