Happy 1st Birthday to The New Agency!

A big Happy Birthday goes out to one of the best groups of mentors and startup champions today – The New Agency!

In the last 30 days leading up to the big number 1 -the agency have helped launch a deal site GoThat.com and another startup called EmploymentHero.com both of whom got the benefit from the full package of design, development, business, marketing and mentoring services provided by The New Agency.

GoThat.com is a new “cause shopping” take on the ‘daily deals’ group-buying category. Customers can buy deals from a number of aggregated deal sites on GoThat, which then donates 50% of its proceeds to the purchaser’s chosen cause. Some of the 12 charities on-board at launch include McGrath Foundation, Black Dog Institute, Variety and Autism Spectrum Australia.

EmploymentHero.com offers businesses a new way to manage employment online, with plans to offer a suite of online tools to make hiring and managing staff easier, backed by on-demand access to a pool of expert HR lawyers. At launch, the platform offers a smarter approach to creating and managing employment contracts and the employees being hired.

One thing that we love about the guys at TNA is the startups they work with all use ‘lean startup’ methodology and all face early exposure to customers.

“We’re proud to see these two Aussie startups launch and begin their journey,” said TNA Director of Hindsight, Alan Jones.

“Both startups are founded by talented and motivated entrepreneurs, drawing on the experience and expertise of The New Agency team, which includes business and web strategists, product directors, designers and developers,” Mr Jones said.

These launches top off a successful first year in operation for TNA which also helped e-commerce businesses including AutoGenie.com.au that provides a new way to buy cars online, NicoleByOPI.com.au, an e-commerce site selling nail lacquer to young women, and AAP MediaNet, which currently has an e-commerce platform project underway with TNA.

TNA also provides specific digital marketing services, and is currently working on marketing campaigns for clients including Evian bottled water.

“Many digital agencies provide their clients with a new website, and that’s fine, but often a website is only a small part of the business requirement.

“TNA offer the full suite of services to take a startup business or a new product service extension from concept to reality in the shortest amount of time, with the best roadmap for future success,” Mr Jones said.
