The movement has been spreading and now it is time to return to our home state and hold what we hope is our biggest and best event yet! On Thursday 11th October we will getting together to spend an evening being empowered, inspired and motivated and we would like to invite all melbourne ‘extraordinary’ women to join us.

On the night you will have the chance to hear two of Australia’s most amazing Female Entrepreneurs share their stories and personal tips on how to build a successful business.

Abigail Forsyth, Founder and CEO of KeepCup

KeepCup is the world’s first barista standard reusable cup and since June 2009 the company has sold over 1.5 million KeepCups, users have diverted billions of disposable cups from landfill. KeepCups are now sold in 32 countries around the world!

Abigail started her career as a solicitor, is a mother of two and a passionate entrepreneur. Come along on the night to hear the story of how she started and turned an idea into a successful reality.

Since their launch in June 2009, KeepCup has been recognised for the merits of its design:

Keran Wicks, founder and Managing Director of Network Video

After leaving school at the age of 13, Keran went on to take the business world by storm when she founded Network Video at age 33, which became one of the leading players in Australia’s $1 billion dollar DVD and movie rental industry. She is also the only female that is heading any video rental group, franchise or independent, in the world! On the night Keran will be telling her inspiring story on how she fought her David vs Goliath battles and balancing a serious career as a single parent.

As usual you will receive one of our famous goodie bags, and can spend the evening connecting with other young female entrepreneurs like yourself.

Event Details

Venue: Honey Bar (head to the gorgeous private function room upstairs)

Start Time: 6.30PM arrival with 7PM start.

End Time: Speakers finish at approximately 8.30PM with mingling time afterwards

Cupcakes and light nibbles provided on the night. We recommend that you have dinner prior to arriving or you can also order food at the bar at your own cost.
