He is currently Chief Entrepreneur Officer of The Enterprise Network for Young Australians (ENYA – www.enya.org.au), a non-profit organisation established in 2003 to create Australia’s future enterprise leaders by providing access to funding, mentoring and education to young entrepreneurs. ENYA is also the voice for Australia’s enterprise leaders in lobbying government, and communicating with the financial sector and all private industry. Within this role Jeremy is Sherpa (2IC to the President) and head Australian delegate for the G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance (www.G20yea.com), which holds a summit prior to the G20 world leaders meeting every year.
Jeremy has been featured in media such as Channel 7 Sunrise, Channel 7 Kochie’s Business Builders, BRW and many others. He won “The search for Australia’s top young entrepreneur” at Australia’s largest convention for young entrepreneurs, “The Entourage” UnConvention in September 2011, and has also lectured on entrepreneurship at Macquarie, UTS, Swinburne and Melbourne universities.
He has vast experience in branding, product development, sales channel strategy, corporate governance and contract manufacturing management, and he holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Monash University in Australia.
At the age of 20 Jeremy began his business career in the booming Australian juice bar trade. With his brother he opened up Australia’s #1 Juice Station outlet, and was sent to Singapore to operate as stand in General Manager for the master franchise for 18 months.
Named as one of Australia’s young guns Jeremy Liddle co-founded a natural health company called RioLife in 2005. In 2010, they were featured as one of Australia’s top emerging companies in BRW Magazine, and picked up a Fastest Growing Small Business Award from the My Business Magazine Awards. RioLife was a finalist for the award again in 2011, and has been distributed through over 1,700 health food stores, pharmacies and supermarkets in Australia and New Zealand.
Jeremy has now authored his first book “From Idea to Start-Up”, designed to teach budding young entrepreneurs how to write a business plan and launch their ideas as a viable enterprise. Jeremy is also involved as founder, director and advisor to a range of Start-Ups and established businesses. Jeremy loves to consult to entrepreneurs wherever possible, and has been involved with the FRANK team for many years as a mentor. He also consults for the NSW Government Trade & Investment department.
