Sydney based ZineTral launching new Content Curation Platform

When it comes to digital content and just media in general, Matt Sharpe and Saman Shad know what they are talking about. Fairfax, Foxtel, BBC and NewsCorp are just some of the companies they have worked within over the years. Their new startup ZineTral aims to bring users the best of curated digital magazines / blogs on what they are interested in.

The platform is human powered meaning that the curation goes beyond keywords, focusing more on the stories and the value of the content – which is awesome, and users will receive regular updated content, so they can get the most out of what they want to read without having to trawl through the interwebs to locate it.

This is great for online publications as well, as [especially if ZineTral grows a massive audience] we have an engaged audience being pushed to our content each week, and in this business, pageviews are king.

Here is what ZineTral say about themselves on their website

ZineTral’s mission is to identify, sort through and filter the best of that content that already exists and bring it to our readers – busy people who do not have time to trawl through the web to find content that caters for their interests. The Magazines will be available for reading online and offline on iOS, Android and Other devices.

We will create a portfolio of digital magazines as good as or better than what the publishing houses are creating, and become the go-to place on a range of subjects which will include Parenting, Food, Fashion, Technology, Politics and Sport, along with international and foreign language editions.

We will be an open, community led, purely digital, fresh and exciting product. We will be the digital magazine rack that people turn to first, a Magazine Central. We are ZineTral.

God I love a clear vision!
