The following is an invitation from the Small Business Commissioner of NSW Yasmin King to the readers of Shoe String
Last year, I travelled throughout New South Wales on a Listening Tour to hear first hand about the issues you face as small business operators. Hearing your stories gave me a lot of ideas about how I can help small business operators in a practical way.
Since my last Listening Tour, I have been working hard to address the issues you raised and I am pleased to report that I have been able to help many small business operators.
Have your say
Throughout the months of June and July I will be travelling across New South Wales once again so that I can hear first hand from small business operators.
On this Listening Tour, I would like your suggestions about what role and functions of the Commissioner you want to see established in legislation, and what tools the Commissioner should have that will help small business operators in the most practical way.
A consultation paper outlining some of the proposed options for the NSW Small Business Commissioner legislation can be downloaded at www.smallbusiness.nsw.gov.au Details about how to provide your comments are also available here.
Submissions close at 5.00pm, Friday 27 July 2012.
