The Sydney tech community know how to party but Blue Chilli is taking the launch of its Long Table incubator to a whole new level with the world’s first crowd sourced cocktail ‘TechPunch’.

Invitations were sent with RSVP’s including options like Citrus or Sweet and Muddled or Straight Up along with the regular yes and no. Results were revealed on Thursday the 10th of May when Alexx Stuart founder of Luxury Tastings unveils ‘TechPunch’ for the first time.

TechPunch. Every cocktail for a launch, celebration or party, should capture the essence of what the occasion is celebrating. This cocktail concept takes a tech trend and applies it to mixology – so much fun! Each guest will be presented with options of flavours, drink styles and specific ingredients, and from there we will curate and create the final cocktail. TechPunch. Vodka – Skyy Vodka is the glamorous drop at the heart of TechPunch – the world’s first crowd sourced cocktail, puntastically named in reference to Tech Crunch. The drink remained a mystery to us until the RSVPs were collated, giving us the word of the people in terms of what style of drink they were after.

Every brand needs a signature. The Long table Incubator is about the Purpose, People & Process. The purpose of this drink is to ‘bottle’ Blue Chilli’s spirit. Its’ people have a fire and see things differently yet with process, the backbone of a successful operation. Therefore a twisted classic seemed the obvious road to travel. Agavce nectar infused with lil’ red chillis, ginseng and pandan, fresh citrus and 100% Blue Agave tequila Espolon – a contemporary twist on the margarita with a bespoke hand crafted garnish created for the night, created by the amazing Jess Pedemont, Chocolate Artisan and Planet Cake teacher.

Blue Chilli Long Table will be officially opened by 10 year old Conner a Sydney “graduate” of Club Kidpreneur, whose Lemonade Stand will be open for business following the formalities.

Sebastian Eckersley –Maslin, founder of Blue Chilli said “The Long Table is a brand that empowers collaboration where everyone is sitting at the same long table helping each other out in their individual businesses.”

“It spans cities by being virtually connected at each end via a digital video wall and it is scalable, allowing other companies internationally to take on the Long Table concept and link-in with their own.” He said.
