Crowd Funding Site Records Broken

Bad Tweets

Be careful what you tweet entrepreneurs, Aussie Startup Hub York Butter factory came under fire this week when an employee tweeted “Techs are the pussy of the startup scene, fill the club with them and the business guys will follow. Got tech chops? @YorkButter wants you!” – Many people from the scene blasted back and accused the YBF of being a sexist boys club – Founders of the business Darcy Naunton and Stuart Richardson issued an apology straight away and the person involved has since resigned from the business.

side note: Having interviewed these guys and been there, I am confident that this is NOT the environment they have or are wanting to create and kudos to the founders for taking accountability and acknowledging the situation straight away.
