Nominations for the Telstra Business Awards opened yesterday and with them the announcement of a new Startup Award from HTC. This new award recognises those businesses that have been operating for between 1 and 3 years – the award has a distinct entrepreneurial focus around it.
HTC was founded in 1997 and has been a leader in the smartphone space ever since they first entered the market, winning awards and having many industry firsts that they are internationally recognised for. They are known for their innovation and are therefore huge supporters of other new, interesting startups that push the boundaries.
