Startup incubator BlueChilli has launched new startup EyeCrowd this week as part of it’s Internal Development projects they have going on where they have a goal to launch one business each month this year. The basic premise behind their first venture under this scheme is that everyone from the smallest business up to a large enterprise can get 99 opinions for $99.00 on anything from logo’s, tag lines or even design mock ups without the hassle of ever having to trawl the streets and do the market research themselves.
The application has launched online with mobile versions to be launched soon. “Eyecrowd gives you access to thousands of eyes and realtime opinions” says Nathan Murphy, the startups newly appointed CEO, “Marketers and Advertisers will be able to have their opinions validated in a much shorter timeframe, allowing them to present stronger information and statistics when talking to clients.”
Eyecrowd have said that unlike regular marketing services that usually take a week to collect their research, their application will be able to do it within 24 hours. Regular testing leading up to the launch has had some polls come back 100% completed within 18 minutes though.
They have big plans for the business as well, with Murphy heading over to Silicon Valley soon to do the rounds, meet with investors and other startups within the space. We think this is definitely one that will be seeing a lot more press over the coming months.
