Kogan Technologies was one of the first companies within Australia to implement a truely paperless system within their work place. Keeping true to their mantra “there is always a better way” Kogan again is leading the pack, giving a new spin on what an office space should be, as they unvieled their “Office of the future” product yesterday.
Working closely with a furniture manufacturer to create it, these new work pods boast extremely comfortable chairs, they have built in heating, massage, speakers as well as SD and USB slots to play music. The functions are remote controlled by you and they all have a built in laptop stand with the option to attach another screen if you need it.
Unfortunately the product is just a concept at the moment – more of an insight into the office of the future so all you tech junkies can put those credit cards back in your wallets for the moment.
For startups though and for collborative work spaces of the future, these sexy things could be just the ticket – I mean you get everything you would usually have in a home office in the one piece of kit and a massage whilst you work. It makes perfect economic sense from a bootstrap perspective.
