Reload Media began with a capital of just $500. This year, the nationwide company expects to turn over $2.5 million on the back of their UK and NZ expansion.
Managing Director Llew Jury – recently dubbed ‘serial entrepreneur’ by the Australian Financial Review, said the company was made up of a young and vibrant team of Gen Y whiz kids. “The average age in our office is 24. Which is astonishing considering the technical skill involved in what we do,” he said.
Among the young achievers is General Manager Craig Somerville (recently listed in Smart Company’s Hot 30 under 30 last month), who at just 22 owns a share in the highly profitable and rapidly growing enterprise. Jury said it was his technologically savvy team that had sealed the company’s success in the ever changing sector.
“Generation Y have been born and bred on technology and digital media, they live and breathe it with vigor and it’s great to see them pass on their knowledge and their passion to our clients”, he said. Reload’s main tactic in infiltrating the digital marketing sector has been identifying markets that business owners don’t realize they need yet.
“In this day and age effective business planning calls for a new level of understanding that is often challenging to the most savvy business owners”.
“We are all about communicating the complexities of digital marketing and capitalising on the new array of consumer markets created by and served by advances in technologies”, he said.
