Labels to Love

- June 21, 2011 < 1 MIN READ

At a time when there’s much debate surrounding Australia’s deepening love affair with buying online, Labels to Love boldly enters the arena with a new online marketplace that allows design hunters to purchase from a variety of different stores in one transaction.

Launching in June 2011, the site was created with small, independent Australian businesses in mind. Labels to Love founder, 20 year-old former Sydney fashion model and entrepreneur Alexandra Seitam, says she was inspired by independent labels she came across while modelling, but which she had difficulty finding online. Alexandra says, “I’m inspired by all the wonderful things that you might stumble across in tucked-away boutiques or cool urban markets – remarkable, uncommon items, and their makers.”

Labels to Love resists mass production and unoriginal items, selecting only the most charming, unique and well-made products. Exceptional service is a must too; everything purchased from the website is sent directly from the designer-maker to the buyer.

Designed to help more Australian businesses get online – or more Australians find gorgeous things, depending on which side of the website you sit – Labels to Love gives sellers a cost-effective alternative to creating their own e-tail store, or the ability to reach a wider audience if the business is already online.
