After a successful career in the corporate sector, Jane Del Rosso decided it was time for a change. So she embarked on a TAFE course in Commercial Cookery and from there, she developed the idea for her unique business – a business that would help foodies get into business and stay in business.
My Other Kitchen assists people build a successful business out of a great food idea by providing business services and kitchen space to create their dream. Set up along the lines of a Small Business Incubator, our aim is to become a hub enabling food people in business to share their experiences and expertise with others. The grand vision is to bring together a network of individuals that have skills and services others in the industry need – a true Kitchen Incubator. “There is enough to learn when starting a new business, but a business in food has an added complexity of regulation and registration. I’m realistic enough to know that I can’t be everything to everyone, but I can put them in touch with someone else that has what they need”.
