Anthill relaunched this week with a new design and I must say it’s pretty sexy. Anthill founder James Tuckerman has said that this is the first step in a series of new tweaks to the publication to take place. The new clean look makes navigation very easy and users can log into the forums, start discussions with other entrepreneurs and get the latest news about whats happening around the business scene in Australia.
Startup Smart revealed their new look last week complete with new menu bars, a refreshed cleaner layout and a tightened up colour scheme. It follows the trend set by Mashable and The Next Web last year when they decided to give their sites a facelift in at the beginning of the year.
Earlier this week, our friends at Anthill Magazine ran a webinar on the “not-so-secret art of growth hacking”. Anthill’s founder James Tuckerman shared some surprisingly revealing data about conversion rates, how to generate leads and build an engaged customer base.
There is nothing more intimate that two men in the media space can do then screen share their Google Analytics pages, the back ends of their websites, their lead collection tools and strategies and readership growth campaigns. To be honest doing THAT takes more trust for me than having sex with someone, at least when it comes to sex you can use protection – when it comes to sharing intimate details in business it is a whole different ball game.
Last night over 200 people attended at “bi-city” event put on by Anthill to celebrate the Smart 100 Awards to network with other likeminded entrepreneurs, investors, thinkers and doers and to attend a panel discussion with some of Australia’s leading industry influencers.
