CBA wants SMBs to pocket from a $30,000 give away

As a small business owner, wouldn’t it be great to pocket from a $30,000 giveaway? Well here is your chance SMBs!

In an attempt to help the small business sector, Commonwealth Bank has launched the BetterBusiness Booster, an initiative to reward the small guns of Australia’s business world.

The competition winner will receieve a $10,000 cash injection and a 12 month business coaching session with one of Australia’s top senior business and financial advisors, Peter Switzer.

Commonwealth Bank’s executive general manager of local business banking Matt Comyn says CBA aims to help, recognise and grow the sector who make up more than 35% of Australia’s economy.

“Small businesses are the backbone of the Australian economy, so it’s important that we continue to support their growth and development.”

Interested small business owners are encouraged to visit and vote via www.facebook.com/CommonwealthBankBusiness and for every voter, they  too, will go into the draw for a chance to win $10,000.

A judging panel will name five business finalists who will also pocket $1,000 and the opportunity to meet with other senior financial advisors in Sydney.

“For many businesses, this could make quite a difference to their day-to-day operations,” said Comyn.

But time is ticking, nominations will no longer be accepted after 5pm, Friday, 4 May 2012.
