Startup Lifecrowd gets $2 million seed funding

Currently in BETA and with an impressive, long list of co-founders and investors on board LifeCrowd is the newest Social Platform that allows you to connect with like minded individuals to engage in activities you are mutually interested in.

Listings on the site can deal with almost anything, from wanting to form a group to go deep sea fishing to wanting to learn how to turn wire into an artistic masterpiece. The site also lets you book locals as tour guides. One of the great features of the site is the Life Crowd Concierge page, it connects experts with enthusiasts. As one of the founders have said “It is what Craigslist should be”

Lifecrowd has just recently closed a seed funding round of $2 million dollars from investors with shares in companies such a Zynga and ZocDoc.
