Startup: Printerboy

At the age of 24, Brisbane personal trainer Ben Douglas decided to launch a new service for small businesses to give them better access to the best and most competitive printing prices out in the market.

Printerboy is a simple to use platform created to make B2B printing both easy and cheap. “What the Printerboy platform can do for you is take all the difficult components of printing and simplifies them so anyone can get a job done. Printerboy brings the competiton to one site where they can submit offers for your work. From here you can review the various offers and select the one you like best. This not only makes it easy and cost effective but it also takes the stress and confusion out of calling multiple companies for quotes” says founder Ben.

“The idea for Printerboy came from my experience getting flyers and business cards printed for my personal training business. It used to take literally hours to ring around different printing companies to get a good price, and after talking to many of my clients I realised it wasn’t just me who found this process frustrating” said ben reflecting on the startup process.

Ben’s goal is that Printerboy will become the standard way for people to organise their printing jobs.
