Shooii is a brand new company founded by a couple of shoe lovers with over 20 years combined experience in the footwear industry. The company was founded by Dave Prince, who together with Director of Web Strategy Mark Campbell is embarking on a mission to deliver the best in online shopping to Australia, and create a unique eCommerce shoe store that customers love. It is Shooii’s belief that Australia continues to lag behind the rest of the world in providing customers with great shopping experiences in the digital space, and that more investment needs to be made domestically to raise the bar.
Shooii’s primary goal is to deliver the most joyful shopping experience for customers – it’s that simple. They plan to do this by providing customers with superior customer service, a large range of product from the best brands, and a premium website with some innovative features. This involves more than simply picking a list of features used on other eCommerce sites, and Shooii will instead take a holistic view of the customer experience to make sure that every part of the purchase process lives up to consumer’s high expectations.
It is currently all systems go at Shooii, with a major web build, an ongoing capital raising process, and the development of supplier relationships taking up most of Mark and Dave’s time. With a plan is to launch the site in early 2012, Shooii’s philosophy is that it takes time to build something of quality, and this preparation will pay off in the long run.
